| Many American Pit Bull Terrier lovers have asked how to best support the Campers at Camp Pit Bull and our main need is.... Great Adoptive Homes! Sponsors are also welcome if you can't adopt. Each Camper would love a sponsor to cover their monthly needs of food, treats, flea & tick preventative and other necessaries. Just ask how to sponsor your favorite Camper! We feed our Campers either raw whole meat items or Solid Gold WolfKing for the new campers making the transition from kennel to home. Petco sells this brand and any donations are appreciated. Strong toys such as Orbee are awesome, as are loooong braided bullysticks. Cute, decorative collars/bandanas are a fun item for adoption days and public events. Campers are washed in Earth Bath Shampoo and skin sprays and given Bach's Rescue Remedy daily. Camp Pit Bull has grown to accommodate several pit bull terriers that were on death row at area shelters and needed immediate rescue. Many of our dogs are boarded nearby at a safe, friendly facility and brought back to the house on a daily rotating basis for training and socialization. We do not warehouse our dogs! Each Camper is brought into the house, walked through neighborhoods, socialized with as large a variety of people as possible to determine the best match for adopters. |

Donations towards feeding would be greatly appreciated. Our dogs eat about $10 of
meat/treat daily. Several of our shelter dogs have heartworms, mange and most need
spay and neuter surgeries before they are adopted. We would also like to attend more
adoption events and training workshops in the Houston area as well as in Austin and
surrounding cities. Camp Pit Bull has a waiting list of needy dogs and donations
towards boarding for these Campers is greatly appreciated. We never "warehouse"
our Campers or take on more dogs than we can properly socialize and train.
